Data Provider to UnityWorks! Media

A data provider is a company that sends or exports VIN decoded, pre-owned vehicle data feeds to UnityWorks! Media in a specific format using a defined file structure on a specific schedule.

The data export contains all of the information needed by UnityWorks! Media to create a unique automotive vehicle video for each of the included vehicles that meet the dealership criteria.

The process for becoming a data provider to UnityWorks! Media is as follows.

1.        Create a test file based on the requirements listed below.

2.        Name the test file unity_yourcompanyname.txt

3.        Provide us with a contact, email address and telephone number at your company for dealership addition and deletion requests.

4.        Send this test file and contact information to datafeed@unityworksmedia.com and request that we validate the test file.

5.        We will review the data file and work with you to correct any issues.

Upon approval of the new data feed UnityWorks! Media will issue you a FTP data file location, UserName and Password for the new data provider feed.

The data file field requirements are listed below. Please make the file pipe delimited (“|”) between fields and use commas for multiple values within a field. A sample file (unity_sample.txt) is included with this documentation.
